PURPOSE:To obtain a shape and size as directed by the controller at the directed height by inputting correction factors to comply with the instructed height on the bench equipped with the work at processing inclined surface. CONSTITUTION:At the operation of four-axis control taper cut machine, other instructio than the inclined angle of the wire electrodes set at theta, those instruction value such as issued by NC tape 1 and distances l1 and l2 are inputted into NC controller 2; wherein l1 is a distance between the lower fixed guide 6 and the bench surface 10, and l2 is a distance between the upper fixed guide 5 and the bench surface 10. To get correction factor, it is made by dislocation the bench while the lower guide 6 stays still, and distance l3 is additionally inputted which is a height from the straight protion of the bench 10. Motors 3 and 4 of U axis and V axis respectively, and motors 7 and 8 of X axis and Y axis respectively are driven in the manner that the correction values (l1+l2) tan theta, (l1+l3) tan theta, are supplied to the upper guide 5 and the bench 10 respectively. Accordingly, accurate size values to comply with the instruction outputted by the NC tape 1 are available at the point whose height from the bench surface 10 is l3. |
