Data communication system used with groups of machines - connects interfaces with control terminals in two-way liaison

An original system architecture allows the flexible adaptaion of 2-way data/instruction communication with groups of machines. Each data acquisition/command terminal is able to communicate both with the local group of machines and with other terminals which are linked by a closed serial telephone circuit. Terminals can interact on a master-slave priority bus system. Instructions from a micro-processor memory are manipulated by internal data and address buses and parallel to series converters and data input and output ports are controlled by programmable interface units.
