METHOD OF COOLING POLYAMIDE POLYMER SHEET

PURPOSE:To charge a fused polyamide polymer sheet electrically enough to adhere closely to the surface of a travelling cooling unit through corona discharge working in a streamer corona condition. CONSTITUTION:In cooling down a film formative polyamide thermoplastic polymer fused and extruded into a sheet on the surface of a travelling cooling unit, a corona discharge is given in a streamer corona condition between an electrode impressed with DC high voltage and the fused polymer sheet to obtain a high current at low voltage without arc discharge, thereby providing a satisfactory charge for the fused polymer sheet to adhere closely to the surface of the travelling cooling unit.
