<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject method comprising the steps of: applying a putty type resin smoothly on the end surface of a coil, curing the resin in a preliminary drying process thereby to obtain a resin sealed coil having a high mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:The end surface of a coil 1 wound around a core 9 is coated with a putty resin 8 having a viscosity in a degree such as not deforming by the centrifugal force of the rotation, and molded by a disc-shaped stiffening plate thereby to fabricate an end surface of a high dimensional accuracy. Thereafter, the coil is preliminarily dried and a resin 8 is cured. According to this method, a fine coil having a smooth end surface having a high dimensional accuracy and an improved mechanical strength can be obtained.</p> |
