<p>The frame for a window, door or similar, has a roller shutter case at its top end, and also guideways for the shutter at its sides. The bottom slat(7) on the roller shutter (6) has one or more sealing units (9) fitted on its front, rear and/or bottom side. These may protrude so that, with the blind lowered or raised, they are held so as to fit close against allotted edges (13, 15, 16) and/or faces on the frame (1) of the sill (14) or shutter case (4). The sealing units can be plug-in battens. This prevents penetration of cold winds and draughts.</p> |
