AC network simplex push=pull converter - improves step-shaped symmetrical quarter waves by giving greater degree of freedom to switching instants of steps
摘要

Sinusoidal currents in an AC network feeding a rectifier are abtained by using a form of simplex push pull converter. This unit produces symmetrical quarter waves of step shaped form. The present modification improves the waveform by giving a greater degreee of freedom to the switching instants of the steps. It recognises that the timing of the increasing steps in one quarter cycle can be different from those of the decreasing steps in the following quarter cycle.
