PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to improve the reliability by arranging such that an ink head is oscillated or rotated when the power source is turned on or in the period from a moment before the typing to a moment after the typing. CONSTITUTION:An ink is supplied through an ink supplying pipe 21 to an auxiliary tank 22 for suppressing vibration, impact and so forth. A piezoelectric element 23 is adapted to be deflected by an application of a signal from the outside thereby to pressurize the ink in a ink chamber 23, thereby to jet the ink from a nozzle 25. A slide shaft 28 is adapted to make a carriage 27 run by means of a wire 29. A tuning fork attached to the carriage 27 is vibrated by electric signal applied to a piezoelectric element 33. The head 20 is vibrated together with the tuning fork to jet the ink in synchronism to print the character 36 on the printing paper 35. |
