<p>Machine for forming compacted briquettes of sawdust held together by suitable glue or binding material employs two separate mixing chambers in sequence. The mixt. is withdrawn for briquetting from the second chamber only so that the first chamber is used to achieve thorough mixing. Binding material can be added as a liq. glue or as a solid; if the latter, any water necessary can be added in the form of moisture in the sawdust itself. Used for the prepn. of combustible briquettes from wood waste and sawdust.</p> |
