FEEDING GASES INTO CONVEYOR PIPES

An apparatus for introducing additional conveying gas into pneumatic conveying pipes, particularly during the conveying of goods in the form of dust particles. The apparatus used has an annular chamber 6 which surrounds the conveying pipe 5 with a shaped ring 4 of resilient wear-resistant material shutting off the conveying pipe from the annular chamber in a gastight manner until the excess pressure in the annular chamber is sufficient for the resilient deformation of the shaped ring.
