The cleaning equipment is for the finned-tube cooling element of a dry-type cooling tower. Its nozzle housing (15), open towards the element surface, has a number of air guide partitions (6) parallel to the tube fins, and fits on the element. On its side away from the latter are compressed-air (7) and vacuum (8) unions, extending over some of the partitions and sliding to and from the element tubes, typically under the action of a spindle. Two nozzle housings can be mounted on a holding lever sliding into a centering device provided for each pair of elements.
