PURPOSE:To reduce space for an side eraser by controlling an optical path position so that the imprinting position of an optical path edge on a farther side from the side eraser of an exposure optical path onto a photosensitive body is in a specified position even when a copying magnification is changed. CONSTITUTION:The mirror holder 33, and the mirrors 331 and 332 of a mirror device 33 for correcting optical path length are driven by using a lens driving motor. A 6th mirror 34 is parallely moved from a position for unmagnified copying to the direction of enlarged copying or reduced copying. A microcomputer controls the optical path edge L1 on the farther side from the side eraser 4 of an optical path L coming from the 6th mirror 34 and going toward the photosensitive body 1 so that the optical path is placed in the specified position N even when the copying magnification is changed. Thus, as the copying magnification becomes lower, optical path width is narrowed, thereby producing space which can be used as it is. The side eraser 4 is arranged in the space, whereby the space for the side eraser 4 can be reduce. |
