<p>PURPOSE:To set caps being fed in random poses into a specified pose before feeding them to next step by arranging plural permanent magnets on the back face of an endless belt at regular intervals along the feeding direction. CONSTITUTION:The caps C being fed with their top wall face attracted onto the surface of a belt 1 continue sliding along the surface of the belt 1 when they pass by a gap portion 8 between magnets 7, without changing their pose. When the caps C being fed with their opening portion in contact with the surface of the belt 1 come to the gap portion 8, a minority of them falls and returns onto a feed conveyor or is inverted downward to be attracted onto the belt 1 in the specified pose on the magnet 7 on the downs tream side, while the majority of them is inverted upward to be attracted onto the belt 1 in the specified pose on the magnet 7 on the upstream side. The caps C being fed in laid pose are also inverted in the same way.</p> |
