PURPOSE:To decrease residual potential and the photofatigue at the time of repetitive use by incorporating a specific 1, 1, 4-triaryl-1, 3-alkadiene deriv. as a charge transfer material into the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The 1, 1, 4-triaryl-1, 3-alkadiene deriv. expressed by formula I is incorporated as the charge transfer material 4 onto a conductive base 1. In formula I, Ar1 denotes a di-substd. aminophenyl group or N-lower alkyl carbazole group; Ar2 denotes a phenyl group which may have a di-substd. amino group; R denotes a lower alkyl group. A photosensitive layer 5 is formed together with a charge generating layer 3 essentially consisting of a charge generating material 2 on the conductive base 1. The residual potential is thereby lowered and the photofatigue is decreased even after the repetitive use. |
