A reverberation apparatus is adapted to a good mechanical matching characteristics and comprises at least one reverberation unit comprising a system of coil springs for transmitting sound-frequency mechanical vibrations, each of which is connected to an electro-mechanical driver transducer and to a mechanico-electric pick-up transducer. Each system of coil springs partly forms a lattice in at least two dimensions, in which coil springs are mechanically interconnected at a number of coupling points and in which at least some of said coil springs are connected to a rigid frame.
