PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material with a coating film of high strength and good film forming properties by applying and drying the solution of high molecular weight protein compounds modified soluble to water on a supporting material such as polyethylene terephtalate film, etc. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of high molecular weight protein such as globulin, prolamin, glutelin, etc., are made soluble to water with the dilute solution of acid, alkali or neutral salts, or with modifying agent such as urea, its derivatives, etc. Next, the solution of them is applied on a supporting material such as polyethylene terephtalate film, etc., is dried and thus a recording material with a recording layer is obtained. For example, 10 gram soybean protein and 12 gram urea are added to 78 gram water and are left one night, then they are agitated and uniform solution is obtained. This solution is applied on a polyester film of 100mu thick with a wire bar, is dried at 40 deg.C and a film with a recording layer is obtained. |
