PURPOSE:To make handling of the time when the reflecting plate is used for liquid crystal devices easy by integrally coupling a recurrent reflecting sheet and transparent plastic sheet through the use of the burrs produced in press blanking thereby forming the reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A press consisting of an upper die 1 and a lower die 2 provided with a suitable clearance to permit easy production of burrs at the time of blanking is used. A transparent plastic plate material (preferably an acrylic plate having butyl groups) 4 is placed on a recurrent reflecting sheet material 3 composed of the polyester film comprising burying plural micro glass beads 6 on one surface then coating thereon with an aluminum vapor deposition layer 7. These are then placed between the upper and lower dies 2, 1, and the upper die 2 is lowered. By the abovementioned blanking, the plate material 4 and sheet material 3 are blanked to the specified shape and the burrs 8 produced at the outside circumferential top edges of the sheet material 3 bite into the plate material 4, whereby the reflecting plate P in which both are integrally closely bound to one sheet is formed. |
