PURPOSE:To enable inconveniences caused owing to change in subject luminance to be avoided at the information taking time and exposure time by storing distance information and subject luminance respectively. CONSTITUTION:Output of a distance detecting circuit 5, i.e., distance information, is stored in a memory circuit 6 and the subject luminance of that time is detected in a detecting circuit 10 and this is stored in a latch circuit 11. When at this time the subject luminance being measured is unsatisfactory, the output of the latch circuit 11 causes any of distance display elements L2 thru L4 to flicker by way of a conrtol part 9, thereby emitting an alarm. Hence, in the case of the composition wherein the subject to be focused is disposed at the corner of the image plane, the desired distance information is beforehand taken and stored and when the composition is determined and photographing is going to be performed after this, the photographing in which focus adjustment is not assured may be avoided by these storage contents. It is also possible to perform inhibition of shutter release by the output of the latch circuit 11 in place of alarm display. |
