PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a sufficient sensitivity for measuring with adjusting automatically sensitivity by increasing the amplification degree of an amplifier in case of output signals in the sample light flux side below a set voltage and opening the slit width in case of lack of them. CONSTITUTION:In case that output signals in the sample light flux from the amplification system are below a set voltage, the amplification degree of the amplifier is increased; and further, in case that they do not reach the set voltage, the slit width is opened. For example, when automatic gain switch 16 is closed, circuits of main amplifier 12 and servo amplifier 13 are disconnected, and a signal to move light reduction equipment 5 to the 0 direction is outputted from gain check circuit 15, and signals from detector 9 are only dependent upon the light in the sample light flux side. In case of these signals below a set value, gain control circuit 17 increases the amplification degree of main amplifier 12; and further, in case that these signals do not reach the set value, the output of gain control circuit 17 is given to slit program control circuit 18, and the width of slit 10 is made wider until the set voltage is obtained. |
