PURPOSE:To decrease the fluctuation of consumption quantity of converter gas for utilization equipment, by estimating the gas level of gasholder in recovering and nonrecovering term of the converter gas on the basis of a fixed detection value and controlling the consumption quantity of the converter gas basing on the above estimated value. CONSTITUTION:The gas holder 3 provided between the converter 1, 1' and the gas utilization equipment 4, such as boiler etc., is used for damping device of converter gas supply for the equipment 4. Then, flowing amount of the converter gas is measured by the regulation gauge 5 and the regulation valve 6 is controlled on the basis of the set up poing S given by CPU (electronic computer) 8 and then, gas level in the holder 3 is controlled so as not to exceed the upper and lower level. Also, signals corresponding to the generating quantity of the converter gas from the converter gas recovering apparatus 2, 2', consumption quantity of the converter gas from the holder 3 to the equipment 4 and operation process of the converter 1, 1', are inputted in CPU 8 as each data. Moreover, the set up point 7 is computed on the basis of the above input value and computed value is sent to the gauge 5 and then, the consumption quantity of the converter gas is controlled. |
