PURPOSE:To ensure the steady operation for the active filter regardless of the transient state or the steady state by comparing the DC level of the input signal with the reference voltage and then varying the damping coefficient with control of the factor of the amplifier based on the level difference. CONSTITUTION:The input of in-phase amplifier 1 is applied to one input of comparator circuit 3, and reference voltage Vr to be applied to control circuit 2 is applied to the other input. And the output of circuit 3 is turned to the control signal to vary the factor of amplifier 1. Thus the DC level of input signal (e) is compared with voltage Vr, and the factor of amplifier 1 is controlled according to the level difference. Accordingly, the damping coefficient also varies. As a result, the steady operation is secured for the active filter regardless of the transient state or the steady state. |
