PURPOSE:To make common the read and write circuits for each magnetic head, by selectng the damping resistance values in the read and write circuits for a plurality of magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:The read circuit RAC and the write circuit WAC of the magnetic heads H1,H2...Hn are provided commonly, and each magnetic head is provided with the damping resistors R1...Rn for read and damping resistors R1'...Rn' for write, and switches SW1...SWn and SW1'...SWn' selecting the damping resistors. The values of the damping resistors R1...Rn and R1'...Rn' are determined so that the readout signal and the write-in signal to each magnetic head are optimized and almost in agreement with the magnetic heads, to enable to make common the read and write circuits to a plurality of magnetic heads. |
