Inlet and outlet valve for water pipes - allows drainage of water column above valve, when valve is closed

The valve for pipes which are subjected to frost, e.g. outside showers, etc. contains outlet elements, which permit outlet of the excess water column by gravtiy, when the valve is closed. The valve contains a valve body (11) aligned inlet (12) and outlet (13). An intermediate valve disc element (14) which acts against a valve seat (15) is fastened to a shaft (16). The shaft may be axially displaced on end bearings (17, 18) against a spring (20). One projecting shaft end has two radial passages (21, 22) connected via an axial conduit (23). The shaft end acts with a jet-interrupting diaphragm (29).
