<p>PURPOSE:To effectively recover copper by adding a flocculant to the copper pyrophosphate plating solution residues containing a large amount of active carbon and filtering and separating the flocculated active carbon from the plating solution residues then electrolyzing the same. CONSTITUTION:Active carbon is charged into a copper pyrophosphate plating solution to let the impurities contained in this plating solution be adsorbed on the active carbon, whereby the copper pyrophosphate plating solution is refined. A flocculant is added to the plating solution residues containing a large amount of the adsorbent remained after recovery of this refined plating solution to let the adsorbent flocculate. Next, the flocculated adsorbent is filtered away from the plating solution residues, after which copper is recovered through electrolysis. This method provides an extremely high recovery efficiency of copper and saves labor for sludge treatment because of less sludge amount.</p> |
