PURPOSE:To obtain one side plating steel strip forming a uniform and dense coating at a low price, by forming the coating by molded solid C on the one side of steel strip preliminary and carrying out molten metal plating and then, using various kinds of plating methods. CONSTITUTION:C coating is formed on the one side of the steel strip 1 activated the surface uniformly by the roller for coating 2 and the back-up roller 3 and the steel strip 1 is introduced in the plating metal 5, such as zinc, Al etc., in the plating bath 4 and not C coated one side is plated. Next, C of the steel strip 1 is removed passing through the cooling roller 7, the spray nozzle 9 and the brushing roller 8. During the above process, it is desirable to give relative velocity DELTAV so as the velocity to be DELTAV=S-R, but, R; circumference velocity of the roller 2 and S; velocity of the steel strip 1. Also, C is contacted with the one side of steel strip and reciprocating movement is carried out in rectangular direction against advancing direction of the steel strip 1. This method is able to apply for various molten metal plating methods at a low price. |
