Double door converting into box canopy - has floor and roof leaves hung from head and sill opened to form isolation box for electricity supply circuitry

The collapsible box shelter utilises several edge hung pivoting leaves. Single leaves form the roof (6) and floor (8) and double leaves (2, 4) form the walls, and may be used to isolate an electric supply box (P) during maintenance works. The extended unit has a rectangular plan and uniform height, one long plan edge being formed by the box door opening. The double leaves comprise an end wall panel (2) and a half (4) of the offset major wall panel connected by hinged at the abutting vertical edges. The remaining vertical edge of the end wall is hung (3) on the door opening. The floor and roof panels being hung (7) from the sill and head of the door opening respectively. Collapse is effected by pivoting the floor to the vertical, folding the double leaves together and pivoting to closure, and allowing the roof to pivot down and overlay the double leaves.
