System of interlocking paving slabs - uses two units, one circular, other cruciform derived from square with quadrants cut from each corner

The system of interlocking paving slabs utilises two basic modules in precast concrete. The primary module is circular. The secondary module is cruciform. The sec. module is symmetrical about perpendicular major plan axes, the four identical legs being formed by removing a circular quadrant from each corner of a square. Four in situ cruciform slabs, thus leave a central void which is occupied by a circular unit. Semi-circular units may be used to form straight edges to a paved area, and the cruciform units may be bisected on a major plan axis. The straight edges (8) of the cruciform units may be of a length which equates to or is less than the radius of the circular units. This is pref. 50mm.
