PURPOSE:To save electric power consumption, by turning a prism mirror in the vertical direction by operating an electric motor driven gear till a mirror reflecting face selective position detector operates so as to fix a position of the mirror to its turned position by a locking means of gear mechanism or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a prism mirror 4 is placed in the daytime condition, a holder 16 of a mirror reflecting face selective position detector 26 is placed in a position as shown in the drawing by attracting a magnetic material stopper 15 to a permanent magnet 20, and the first microswitch SW21 is turned on by the stopper 15. Next, if a reflecting face selector switch is closed to the nighttime side, an electromagnet 25 is excited to attract the holder 16 to be fixed, while an electric motor driven gear 9 is operated to tilt the mirror 4 upward placing its reflecting face 4b in a working position. Here the stopper 15 is detached from the magnet 20 causing a rod 14 to advance till it engages with a stopper 23, and the gear 9 is stopped when a switch SW22 is turned on. |
