The special bicycle frame has a low slung section (5) between the front wheel and the crank supporting a flat load platform a little way above the ground. The rider can carry goods or even a child standing on the platform, either riding the machine or pushing it. The platform has a low centre of gravity so that the stability of the machine is not affected. The front wheel may be smaller than the back wheel, allowing room for a basket in front of the steering column.
