Video cassette recorder with concentric spools and claw mechanism - envelops head drum in end position and provides guide surfaces for tape in different planes

A video signal recorder which uses a cassette with concentrically-mounted spools. There is a claw mechanism with two claws for removing the tape. They can be directed around a circumference of a split head drum. When in the end position the claws will completely envelop the head drum. They are mounted in different planes. The upper and lower claws are made with guide edges for the tape. In the end position, the lower edge of the upper claw will come into contact with the upper edge of the lower claw.
