<p>The prismatic accessory holds down workpieces during drilling or other kinds of machining. The accessory is for both-sided use and is suitable for circular as well as rectangular cross-section workpieces. The prismatic body of the accessory is fitted with two sets of grooves (5, 6) into which the hooked ends of the clamp strap (7) can be engaged. The clamp has a stirrup shape with apex (8) in which the clamping bolt (9) is operating. The two other sides of the prismatic body have different combinations of surfaces to make them suitable for circular or rectangular cross-section workpieces of varying sizes. Side (1) has a V-shaped external groove joined in an inwards direction by flat grooves (10) of different dimensions, whereas the other side starts on the outside with a flat, broad surface (12) joined in inward direction by a V-shaped groove (2).</p> |
