发明名称 MANUFACTURING METHOD OF TRANSMISSION PATH LASER
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent transmission path laser by utilizing a single crystal of LiBiP4O12. CONSTITUTION:This method utilizes a single crystal of LiBiP4O12 obtained by replacing Nd of LiNdP4O12 well known as an excellent solid laser crystal with Bi. This crystal closely resembles the LiNdP4O12 in grid constant, its refractive index is greater than that of LiNdP4O12 and resultantly may satisfy a condition for excellent epi-crystal transmission path. Further, as indicated in the composition expression LiBixNd1-xP4O12 (0<=x<=1), LiBiP4O12 and LiNdP4O12 are solid-solved over a full ratio and the mixed crystal with a certain ratio can be formed. The mixed crystal consisting of the foregoing, two compositions can be varied in the refractive index wihout changing its grid constant. In the condition figure on the four components of Li2O, P2O3, Nd2O3 and Bi2O3, if the mole ratio of the components is set within the range surrounded with the predetermined, eight combinated points to form LiBix Nd1-xP4O12, the great effects can be obtained.
