Fish heat treatment plant - with endless chain conveyor for automatic loading and unloading of suspended baskets

A plant for the heat treatment (steaming, dewatering, drying) of fish in open tinns consists of an endless chain conveyor for carrier baskets with perforated bottom plates for the tins. The baskets are fitted with a guide roll and the return sprockets for the conveyor chain are fitted with guide rails for automatic loading and unloading of the baskets. This saves manual labour for loading and unloading and requires no perforated plates to cover the open tins.
