In order to prevent the tendency of the brush to redistribute the powder and create a streaked appearance, at least one pressing element (33, 37a or 37b) projects from the periphery of the brush. At this element sweeps across the carpet, it presses the powder into the carpet before the powder is scrubbed into the carpet by the main part of the brush. |
