PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of signal detection with electric characteristics stabilized by definitely holding each electrode by incurvating several parallel electrodes. CONSTITUTION:On groove 4 of a fixed gap of insulator 1, anode electrodes 2 and cathode electrodes 3 are mounted by incurvating and deformation value (d) of each electrode owing to incurvation is made greater than electrode interval D. As a result, irregularity in electrode interval due to vibrations or deformation of electrodes is eliminated to reduce the variance of detection signals, and insulator 1 is never irradiated direct with photo electrons produced in the detector and characteristic X rays of sealed gas.
