A swing for children is designed to look like a ship, with the ship carried by a support frame. It is suitable for use in parks. The ship (2) is equipped with at least two running rollers. It moves on at least one roller track (5) forming part of the support frame (6). The ship swing (2) is guided by guide rollers (9, 10) moving against the support frame (6) transverse to the direction of movement of the swing. The ship swing is fitted with holding rollers to prevent lifting of the swing from at least one roller track and to obtain a swing movement there is at least one friction drive.
