PURPOSE:The titled inexpensive and nontoxic fine particles, phagocytized by a macrophage to activate the macrophage, requiring a small amount of an activator, capable of lasting effect, having good preservation quality and useful for tumor immunotherapy. CONSTITUTION:An immunological activator, e.g. interferon, etc., is initially entrapped in a biodegradable high polymer for entrapping the activator, preferably polylactide, etc., by a well-known method to give fine biodegradable high polymer particles containing the immunological activator. The surface of the above-mentioned fine particles in coated with gelatin to give the aimed fine particles and phagocytized by a macrophage to activate the macrophage. The diameter of the fine particles is preferably 0.1-2mum. If gelatin is used as the above-mentioned biodegradable high polymer, the surface of the fine particles need not be coated with the gelatin.
