PURPOSE:To shorten the data input time to transmit transaction data to a host computer in online by transmitting it to the host computer after confirming and outputting transaction data. CONSTITUTION:An entry operator uses an input device 5 to indicate a program for entry to a central processing unit 1, and a control program in the central processing unit 1 reads in a pertinent processing program from a magnetic disc device 3 and stores it in a storage device 10 of the input device 5. When a shop number is inputted, the control program retrieves a shop number file with the inputted shop number to obtain a one-touch screen sheet number. When the amount of money is inputted, the lamp of a box corresponding to its slip is lit, and input data is stored as transaction data in the magnetic disc device 3. A journal print processing program outputs a journal to a printer device 4 and transmits it to the host computer by a line connecting mechanism.
