The engine oil filler cap comprises a tubular end (2) rigidly connected to the engine (1). A telescopic tube (3) in the end (2) can be pulled outwards to form an extension. Guide unit (5, 6, 7) may be arranged between the tube (3) and the end (2) to limit axial movement of the tube and prevent its rotation. The guide may comprise a groove (5) in the outer tube wall, engaged by a spring-loaded (7) ball (6) in the end (2). The tube may be closable by a screw cap (4). A seal ring (9) may be arranged between the inner end of the tube (3) and the end (2).
