PURPOSE:To permit long-term stable operation of waste gas treatment apparatus by enhancing the efficiency of dust separation by eliminating troubles with dust separator for raising its reliability. CONSTITUTION:The dust separator 6 is provided in and around the path area between the catalyst-packed layer 2 of the reactor 1 of a waste gas treatment apparatus and the dust separator 5, through which catalyst is circulated to the reactor 1 through the dust separator 5. A flow of dust supplied through the rectifying cone 8 is introduced to the dust separator 6 and the flow of catalyst and dust going straightly toward the damper valve 4 from the catalyst-packed layer 2 is stopped, whereby enhancing the efficiency of dust separation. |
