<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate position detecting device easy to operate and resistant to induction from outside by detecting the position designated by a magnetism generator for position designation by balance of a bridge circuit. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting section 10 is provided with plural coils 11a-11j consisting of magnetic substances arranged nearly parallel to each other at specified spaces. A signal selecting circuit 40 forms a bridge circuit making two out of coils 11a-11j two sides, and connects coils 11a-11j as coils of the bridge circuit switching them successively. Then, a position detecting circuit 50 takes out voltage generated between detecting terminals of formed bridge circuit successively and thereby designated position on the position detector 10 designated by a magnetism generator for position designation, for instance, an inputting pen 20, is found. Thus, a high precision position detecting device easy to operate and resistant to induction from outside can be obtained.</p> |
