The present invention provides radio-hardenable acrylic polyesters [A-]-[-B-C-Dm]2 (I> wherein A is the radical of a linear polyester of the general formula: -O-[R1-R2-]x-R1-O- (II> wherein R1 is a radical derived from at least one dihydroxylated compound selected from aliphatic dihydroxylated alcohols, aliphatic dihydroxylated ether-alcohols and oxyalkylation products of said alcohols and ether-alcohols and of aromatic dihydroxylated compounds, R2 is a radical derived from at least one dicarboxylic acid selected from acids in which each carboxyl group is in the alpha -position with respect to a -CH2-, <IMAGE> group; acids in which one carboxyl group is in the alpha -position with respect to a <IMAGE> group, the other carboxyl group being in the alpha -position with respect to a <IMAGE> group, as well as the anhydrides of said acids, x is an integer from 1 to 20, B has the same meaning as R2, C is a radical derived from at least one aliphatic polyhydroxylated compound selected from aliphatic polyhydroxylated alcohols and aliphatic polyhydroxylated ether-alcohols containing m + 1 OH groups, one of which is esterified with B and the remaining m OH groups are esterified with D, as well as their oxyalkylated derivatives, D is a radical derived from acrylic acid and m is an integer from 2 to 7. |
