摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent color shift due to the shift between an ink film and image receiving paper at the time of color overlap-printing, by setting not only the coefficient of dynamic friction of an ink layer to a soda glass plate to a specific value or more but also that of a heat resistant treatment layer to the glass plate to the specific value or less. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer ink film wherein a heat-meltable ink layer is provided to the front surface of a base material and a heat resistance treatment layer is applied to the back surface thereof, the coefficient of dynamic friction of the ink layer to a soda glass plate (average roughness; Ra=0.01-0.03mum) is 0.50 or more and that of the heat resistant treatment layer to the glass plate is 0.25 or less. Further, the ink layer is constituted on the same surface of the base material by at least two or more colors among yellow, magenta, cyan and black. When the coefficient of dynamic friction of the ink layer of the ink film to the glass plate is 0.50 or less, the ink layer is shifted from image receiving paper and color shift appears. When the coefficient of dynamic friction of the heat resistant treatment layer to the glass plate is 0.25 or more, the friction resistance with a thermal head becomes too large and the feed of the ink film becomes difficult.
