摘要 PURPOSE:To perform high speed printing by enhancing the radiation of heat of a heat generating resistor, by successively forming a plurality of electrode layers to one surface of a substrate by lamination so that said electrode layers are respectively opposed through a glass layer to cut the end part of the substrate and forming the heat generating resistor to the exposed end surface and providing at least one heat conductive layer in the glass layer. CONSTITUTION:After the printing/baking process of a glass layer is performed two times, a heat conductive layer 8 is laminated onto the glass layer and, when the printing/baking process of a glass layer is further performed two times, a grass layer 3 having a desired thickness is obtained and the heat conductive layer 8 is provided at the intermediate position of said galss layer 3. Since the metal layer of the same as electrode layers 2, 4 is used as the heat conductive layer 8, high heat conductivity about 10 times that of the glass layer is obtained. When the heat conductive layer 8 is exposed to the end surface of the substrate by cutting the end part of the substrate to be contacted with heat generating resistors 6, said heat generating resistors 6 are short-circuited and, therefore, the laminating position of the heat conductive layer 8 is selected at an area slightly separated from the position of the end surface on which the heat generating resistors 6 are formed. The heat of the heat generating resistors 6 is transmitted to the wide range in the galss layer 3 through the heat conductive layer 8 and the radiation efficiency of heat resistors 6 becomes high and a printing speed can be made high.
