摘要 A device for particle radiation of objects or spaces comprises two ring-shaped coaxially arranged magnets 12,20 which are arranged to generate magnetic fields in a vacuum tank. The inner magnet 20 generates a homogenous field perpendicular to the place in which charged particles are intended to circulate and the outer magnet 12,14 generates a non-homogenous field which decreases radially outwards also principally perpendicular to the said plane. Electrodes 16,18 are arranged to generate a radial electrical field in the area with the said non-homogenous magnetic field perpendicular to this. A source 24 of charged particles is arranged to inject charged particles in a path in the said area with non-homogenous magnetic field, in addition to which a treatment position 34 where the object or space is intended to be placed in arranged in the tank in the centre of the inner magnet ring to which particles in the said path can be deflected. <IMAGE>
