<p>PURPOSE:The steam from a boiler is passed through activated carbon black layer, then used to steam the rice for sake brewing, thus removing impurities as iron from the steam and producing steamed rice with good odor that can readily be loosened. CONSTITUTION:The steam from pipe 1, small holes 2 is sent into steamer 3, passed through activated carbon layer 5, then screen 6 for removing fine carbon particles, wetted (cooled) or dried (heated) by exchanger 7 and sent into the immersed rice 9 on the perforated bed 8.</p> |
