发明名称 COLD TYPE THERMAL PRINTING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To print firmly in a short time without producing heat by heating up a light absorbing element by means of spark discharge and, utilizing this heat, coloring a heat-sensing coloring element. CONSTITUTION:A drum 13 is a transparent or semitransparent cylindrical durm. When a flash lamp 14 installed in the drum flashes, a light absorbing element 12 fixed around the inner surface of the drum 13, is heated up. Then a heat sensing coloring element 11 that is wrapped around and sealed to the light absorbing element 12, is thermally changed thus a printing pattern is formed. As for the blackened sections of the light absorbing element 12 in the accampanying illustration, materials which can stand for high temperatures such as ruthenium oxides, sintered tungsten, molybdenum, ferrite, graphite etc. are recommended. By this method, instantaneous printing can be done without producing heat which is a cause of hazards.
