Title compds. (I; R1, R2 = H, lower alkyl, R3 = H, aryl, R4=H. aryl, arylalkyl, Ar=aryl, but R3=R4≠2, 6-disubstituted aryl) useful as muscle relaxants in mice at 2.5-40 mg/kg, were prepd. by treating 2-aminoimidazolidin-4-on(II) with arylisocyanate in anhydrous and reactive organic solvents as dioxan, hexahydrofuran, 1,2-dimethoxy-ethane, polyether, N,N-dimethylformamide, dimethylsulfoxide, etc.
