The equipment for control of cross-duct reaction propulsion systems is partic. suitable of co-ordinated control of the apertures of water-jet ducts in floating platforms. It comprises a transmitter, receiver/actuator and connecting system. The transmitter (1) has a central lever (3), vertical but tiltable about a horizontal pivot (4) and able to rotate a cylindrical structure (10) supporting a specially shaped disc (11) with a continuous peripheral knifedge (12) underneath. Tilting the lever causes a cam (6) progressively to depress a central block (9) and its hinged arms (13), operating vertical transmitters (17) - one for each duct - to vary total thrust magnitude. To vary thrust direction the lever is rotated, altering the radial distance (a) between knife edge and individual transmitter axes and thence the thrust resultant.
