PURPOSE:To fix a master to a plate cylinder perfectly by lifting the rear part of the master with a master pushing up element, and receiving and supporting the master rear end with a guide plate when the element goes down. CONSTITUTION:Passing a paper feeding bed 20, a master is fed to an etching roller pair 28 by a roller 22. By the rotation of the roller pair 28, the central part of the master stands up along the lower face of a guide plate 32. A microswitch 12 issues a signal and a pushing up lever 36 lifts the flexible part of the master from the back when the master rises. When the pushing up lever 36 goes down and is held at the lowest position, the rear end of the master is supported by the upper face of a guide plate 34. By the action of a plate feeding device 9, the front end of the master is fed to a master clamping device 4 provided on a plate cylinder 5 by an upper and a lower plate feeding rollers 15 and is fixed to the plate cylinder 5. |
