Centrifugal casting appts. has a rotatable polymerisation column receiving a vertical series of moulds contg. curable compsn.. The column is supported by a rotatable sleeve member which has a lower portion incorporating improved gas feeding means for discharging gas into the column. The sleeve can be freely rotated with respect to a fixed support because of an intervening bearing. The bearing is designed such that gas can flow through it from inlet to outlet.
